Final Days is a premium action game for PC by developer +7 Software. It is a top-down arcade shooter that boasts both online and local co-op gameplay. In it, players will need to work together as a team in order to survive the onslaught of a horde of the undead

Just like Left 4 Dead 2 or Back 4 Blood, Final Days emphasizes player communication and teamwork to survive the zombie apocalypse and utilize the environment to their advantage. A demo version is available to let new players get a feel for the gameplay and what the full game offers.

Survive the horde

Final Days is an arcade co-op zombie shooter game that has you fight against an endless horde of zombies. You can play with up to 16 players online or local four-player split-screen. You can also opt to add four AI-controlled teammates if you don't have enough players to go around. Gameplay is presented in a top-down perspective, while controls are handled by either a keyboard/mouse combo or game controller.

From the get-go, the game will be a frantic and chaotic time. Zombies will come at you in waves and from all directions. Visibility is limited and only goes as far as your flashlight can reach—be mindful of the visual and auditory cues as enemies approach. You can use the environment for temporary cover, but they will eventually get destroyed by enemies or gunfire, so keep moving.

Apart from the multiple weapons available to choose from, enemies will drop various ammo types, such as incendiary or explosive rounds for more punch. Sadly, there aren't many active players in the game anymore, making it hard to find a match online. If you want to give it a try, be sure to have enough friends to join and participate to be able to enjoy the experience.

Fun but dead

All things considered, Final Days is a simple but fun co-op zombie shooter. It supports both online and local gameplay, is quite challenging to play, and offers a decent amount of customization options to suit different playstyles. However, the whole experience hinges on whether or not you have enough players to get a match going. Otherwise, it's as dead as the enemies you'll face.
